Commercial photography is so much fun, especially when you get to spend the day with some of the smoothest scotch you will ever taste, and even better shared with local, young entrepreneurs such as John and Travis of Scotchdale.
Although we typically shoot large events, it is always fun to flex the advertising and editorial shoot muscles and capture some elegant drinks and social settings. Here we highlight some of the scenes from the Scotchdale advertising shoot to showcase the branding, serving sugestions and print ad campaigns.

Scotchdale is just what it sounds like, a scotch maker in Scottsdale, Arizona. Well, it’s a little bit more than that. The two scotch aficionados, John McDonnell and Travis Ranville set out to create the perfect blend that is sippable in the scorching Arizona heat.
John and Travis have been blending whiskey for years but were looking for a blend that was a true summer sipper. Finally, the perfect blend was born when they decided to combine the finest blended pure malt whiskey of the Highland with scotch from the Speyside regions of Scotland.
Scotchdale’s uniquely blended spirits are all aged inside charred American oak bourbon barrels for at least eight years.
Tasting notes include hints of oak, coffee, caramel, chocolate, and honey. The finish is smooth and memorable whether neat, on the rocks or mixed.
